During the freezing Korean winter, yuja citron tea is my go-to tea to ward off colds. Yuja is a yellow citrus fruit that originates from China, but widely used for tea during the winter in Korea. Packed full of vitamin C you’ll see them pop up in Korean cafe menus during the winter, or you can buy it in a jar at a Korean grocery store. So if you’re traveling through Korea during the winter, I recommend you try the yuja tea.
In a jar it sort of looks like marmalade!
I think the benefits of making a cup at home is that you can adjust how much you mix in thereby adjusting the sweetness!
What type of tea do you enjoy in the winter?
